       Tatarstan will allocate forty-five and a half million rubles for the celebration of City Day and Republic Day: Kazan residents can expect a concert at the "Chasha" with a guest star and fireworks.

       Active preparations for the main holiday of the region are ongoing in Kazan, and the authorities have already determined the budget and format of the upcoming festivities. As reported on Monday, August 4, the corresponding tender has been published on the official state procurement portal. According to RBC, approximately 45.5 million rubles will be allocated this year for the celebration of City Day and Republic Day, which are traditionally celebrated on August 30, exceeding last year's expenses by 60.2 percent, which amounted to only 28.2 million. The main concert program will take place at the "Kazan" family center and will last at least three hours; Kazan vocalists, dance groups, and a popular performer from Tatarstan will perform. A guest star from the Russian pop scene is expected to participate, whose name is still kept secret, but flights and accommodation in one of the republic's five-star hotels have already been booked for the artist and their team. A one-hour program with an orchestra and a famous theater artist is also planned at the Kazan City Hall. The highlight of the celebration will be fireworks over the Kazanka water area at ten o'clock in the evening. Last year, Tatiana Bulanova and the "Turkish Choir" performed on stage. Also, Nizhnekamsk will soon celebrate its anniversary. A few days ago, it was reported that the construction of the "Aeromost" cable car in Kazan could begin in 2027. According to experts, the project cost will be around 6 billion rubles. A full-scale presentation of the project is planned to be held later.
