History comes alive: the exhibitions "Rurikids" and "Romanovs" have been updated in the Kazan park "Russia – My History".

      The historical park "Russia - My History" in Kazan features updated multimedia exhibitions "Rurikids" and "Romanovs," dedicated to the formation of Russian statehood, the dynasties of Russian princes and tsars, significant events in domestic history, culture, science, and military victories. These exhibitions remain the most visited by guests and residents of the republic. The updates to the exhibitions are part of the national project "Youth and Children" of the federal project "We Are Together." In 2025, the "Romanovs" exhibition was modernized, and in 2026, the "Rurikids" exhibition.

      Now the exhibitions are filled with modern interactive content, and artificial intelligence technologies have allowed for the creation of animated images of historical figures and the adaptation of narratives to visitors' requests. The main change in the updated exhibitions is the introduction of new animated videos and interactive scenarios. Visitors can see reconstructions of battles, the development of culture and science in specific eras, as well as hear stories from rulers and their contemporaries in the first person. Thanks to artificial intelligence, the exhibitions have become more like a living dialogue with history rather than a textbook.

      The "Rurikids" exhibition covers the period from the creation of the Ancient Russian state to the establishment of Moscow as one of the centers for the unification of Russian lands. The "Romanovs" exhibition is dedicated to the 300-year history of the dynasty: from the Time of Troubles to the events of the early 20th century. Innovations have complemented the already familiar multimedia formats: interactive maps, chronological timelines, quizzes, infographics, dome and panoramic halls. Each visitor can choose a topic of interest and study history in a way that suits them.
