The social educator of the Comprehensive Center for Social Services "Istok-Bashlangych" in the Leninogorsk municipal district, Leisan Khairullina, organized a viewing of the video game "We Choose Life" for underage recipients of social services as part of the All-Russian action "Parental Living Room," followed by an open discussion on "closed" topics: how to talk to teenagers about addictions and aggression. The goal of the event is to develop sustainable skills for healthy and safe behavior, teaching constructive ways to cope with aggression and resist negative influences. During the meeting, the kids not only watched the video game but also actively engaged in dialogue, asking questions that concerned them. Together with the educator, they analyzed specific life situations where it is important to be able to say "no." Special attention was given to how to recognize the first signs of addiction and where to seek help. Many admitted that they had not previously thought so deeply about the consequences of their decisions. In an open microphone format, teenagers shared their ways of coping with stress.
Leisan Khairullina emphasized that the main protection is trusting relationships with loved ones. At the end, everyone received a memo with useful contacts for support services.
