The investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan have charged a 45-year-old resident of Kazan with committing a crime under part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).
According to the investigation, on the night of August 10, 2026, the accused, while in the entrance of one of the houses on Aidarova Street, after drinking alcoholic beverages with his 74-year-old mother-in-law, due to suddenly arising personal animosity, inflicted multiple blows to her head with his feet and pushed her down the stairs. As a result of the injuries sustained, the woman died at the scene.
The court, at the request of the investigator, has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention for the accused.
Investigative actions are being conducted to establish all the circumstances of the incident, as well as to collect and secure the evidence base.
