Tatarstan families with newborns were given over a thousand gift sets.

      Since the beginning of 2026 (from January to August), parents of newborns in the Republic of Tatarstan received 1,007 gift sets of baby supplies. Special support was provided to families of participants in the special military operation (SMO) — they received 286 sets.

      Families with an average per capita income not exceeding the subsistence minimum in the republic (16,098 rubles) are entitled to receive the gift. The distribution of sets is organized directly in maternity hospitals — they are handed out on the day of discharge. The set includes items necessary for the baby in the first months of life: a transformer jumpsuit, a cocoon pillow, felt boots, a quilted blanket, and a terry set. Additionally, the set includes consumables: diapers and swaddles, as well as hygiene products (laundry detergent, various types of soap, gel-shampoo, and light body cream).

      This support measure is part of a systematic effort to assist families with children and aligns with the objectives of the national project "Family."
