In house No. 40 on Karl Marx Street, the owner of the apartment on the first floor decided that she desperately needed a cellar. Without much thought, the woman broke through the floor in her apartment and dug out a full-fledged storage space for vegetables and homemade preparations underneath. Of course, she did not obtain any permits for such work. As a result, a predictable conclusion: an administrative offense case has been initiated against the owner. Such cases are not just a curiosity, but a serious threat to the building's structures. Any interference with the load-bearing elements of the house without a project and coordination with the relevant authorities jeopardizes the safety of all residents. The housing inspection reminds: any renovation must be legalized; otherwise, the desire for domestic comfort can lead to hefty fines and an order to restore everything to its original state at one's own expense.
