      Today, the XIX International Festival of Historical Technology opened at the "Sviyazhskie Hills" ski resort. The Honorary Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan and president of the "AvtoRetroClub-21," Farid Mukhametshin, urged the residents of Tatarstan to attend the events. "This year, at the traditional auto retro festival, which is being held for the 19th time, more than 300 vintage cars and motorcycles from all over Russia are presented: from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Yekaterinburg and Novy Urengoy. Behind each exhibit is an entire era, the work of designers, engineers, and workers," wrote Farid Mukhametshin on his channel in the MAX messenger. He noted that this year is special for domestic production. Thus, the legendary "GAZ-21 'Volga'" is celebrating its 70th anniversary, and 50 years ago, the first "KAMAZ" truck rolled off the assembly line in Naberezhnye Chelny, the president of the auto retro club reminded. "It is nice to see that families are coming to the festival with children. When you see how children point out the 'Victory' or 'Volga' to their parents, and the older generation recalls their youth at the restored motorcycles, you understand that history is not gathering dust in museums; it resonates and lives," emphasized Mukhametshin. In his opinion, such technology cannot be bought with money; it embodies true love for domestic automotive production and years of painstaking work. "Welcome to the festival, you still have time to visit it," concluded the Honorary Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan. As previously reported by "Tatar-inform," delegations from retro clubs in Cheboksary, Yekaterinburg, Samara, as well as members of the "Ulyanovets" and "Volga M-21" clubs will participate in the festival. The event will include Auto Sabantuy, a retro quest, a retro market, a concert, and driving skill competitions.

      In total, the program features more than 300 vintage cars and motorcycles from various cities in Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Saratov, Ryazan, Kirov, Perm, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Novy Urengoy, Yaroslavl, Cheboksary, Yoshkar-Ola, and other cities.
