      The Republic of Tatarstan has established itself as one of the key regional leaders and centers of interaction between Russia and China. This was reported by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in the Russian Federation, Zhang Hanhui, in a conversation with the RBK Tatarstan publication. The diplomat emphasized that the republic has a number of significant advantages: a strategic geographical location, rich natural resources, a well-established logistics infrastructure, and a powerful industrial complex. Special attention was given to Tatarstan's high potential in such sectors as petrochemicals, automotive manufacturing, and the IT sector. "A striking example of successful Chinese-Russian investment cooperation is the Haier industrial park, which was created and is dynamically developing in the territory of the republic," noted the Chinese diplomat. The statement was made on the eve of the international forum "GROWTH: Russia and China," which is scheduled to take place in Kazan from August 16 to 19.
