Two million users visited the website of the electronic honor board of the Republic of Tatarstan. The resource started operating at the beginning of August, featuring the names of 15,000 Tatarstan residents—these candidates were nominated by 5,000 republican enterprises. This week, the names of media industry employees from the Republic were announced, including staff from our television and radio company, who share their invaluable experience with colleagues and carefully preserve the traditions of the profession.

Every day, Taufik Khamartdinovich Sagitov's day at GTRK "Tatarstan" begins early in the morning. Cheerful and composed, he quickly heads to the radio studio, where the morning news broadcast of Radio Russia-Tatarstan is prepared. And this has been the case for almost 63 years—clearly, disciplined, and responsibly.

Taufik Sagitov's interest in journalism began in vocational school when he became a working correspondent for the factory newspaper, which he was very proud of. The next step was the editorial office of the newspaper "Tatarstan Yäşläre"—a real school of life and creativity. With such serious experience, he came to television and radio, remaining true to the working theme and witnessing significant events for the country's industry.

"This is such happiness. Zainskaya GRES, Nizhnekamskaya HES, Minibaevsky gas processing plant. Or here—All-Union construction, the first reporting Komsomol meeting. How to get there if the riverboats don't run, there are no roads, and planes don't fly? I made my way—from car to car—by hitchhiking, but I still made it," says Taufik Sagitov, Deputy Director and Head of the Radio Broadcasting Service of GTRK "Tatarstan," Honored Worker of Culture of the TASSR, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation.

And this is his main principle in life: never give up, fully dedicate oneself to the work and the set goal, and invest all one's soul and strength into the task at hand. Otherwise, how else can one remain steadfastly true to their chosen profession and love their work? And to be a leader first on television and then on the radio—a strict but humane mentor to many generations of journalists.

"Mintimer Sharipovich Shaimiev invited me and said: come on, accept it, we need to work. I said, Mintimer Sharipovich, this is hard work. There may even be those who don't understand this in detail. There are, there are, he says, many willing, but you will do it," says Taufik Sagitov, Head of the Radio Broadcasting Service of GTRK "Tatarstan," Honored Worker of Culture of the TASSR, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation.

Then came the modernization of equipment and the formation of a professional technical and creative team. People have always been drawn to him, and he has led them. And this has been going on for 89 years. Honored Worker of Culture of the TASSR and the Russian Federation, holder of state and professional awards, whose honorable labor path is told by the electronic honor board of Tatarstan. A significant contribution to the development of GTRK "Tatarstan" was also made by Lydia Alexeyevna Bulicheva, who worked at the television and radio company for 44 years. She is also nominated for the Electronic Honor Board of Tatarstan today. In 1983, she first sat at the director's console, and since then all television programs have aired under the control of her large and active team. Lydia Alexeyevna passes on her rich experience of working in television to new employees, leading one of the most challenging areas of television work on Russia-1 and Russia-24 for many years.

"I remember the 80s when I first came to the Kazan television studio. Since then, much has changed. Different technologies. New approaches to creating programs. But most importantly, we remain true to classical television. And the traditions laid down by our predecessors are continued by the current generation of the company's employees," says Lydia Bulicheva, Deputy Head of the Information Service, Head of the Programs and Release Editorial Office, Honored Worker of Print and Mass Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Her job is to be behind the scenes, not in front of the camera. And Lydia Alexeyevna doesn't like to talk much about herself, preferring brevity in her answers. But she clearly formulates the essence of her professional attitude towards life and work in her beloved team, as an Honored Worker of Print and Mass Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan, awarded state and professional honors.

"I am very grateful for the high appreciation of my work. Television is a collective effort, teamwork. And this recognition is not only of my work but of the entire team of GTRK 'Tatarstan,'" says Lydia Bulicheva, Deputy Head of the Information Service, Head of the Programs and Release Editorial Office, Honored Worker of Print and Mass Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The stories of people who have shown high professional results and remain devoted to their work to this day are collected on the Electronic Honor Board. This is a modern digital platform of the republic, created at the initiative of the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.

"Here are the working people who teach our children every day, heal us, build houses, roads, create the economy, and most importantly, ensure the prosperity of our republic and the entire country," noted the Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elmira Zaripova.

The Electronic Honor Board already features more than 15,000 Tatarstan residents. Among them, the majority are employees of the industrial sector. The best are selected from within the working collectives for special achievements and work experience. "In fact, this is a very good forum for encouragement; already 47 people from our sector have been nominated for the honor board, but this work is not finished; we plan to continue it, involving more and more people," noted the head of the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications "Tatmedia," Aidar Salimgaraev.
