      According to the results of the public voting at the street art festival "FormART," which took place from August 5 to 16 on the "Gosuslugi" portal, a work from Tatarstan received 27,518 votes from residents of the republic, the organizers report. This is the best result among 14 regions of the Volga Federal District. Tatarstan was represented by artist Alexander Popov from Naberezhnye Chelny with the mural "Family Traditions." The fresco decorated the facade of house No. 87a on Shamil Usmanov Street. It depicts a grandmother and granddaughter preparing echpochmak – a symbol of generational continuity, home comfort, and fidelity to national traditions. According to data from August 14, Tatarstan was confidently in the lead: 27,518 votes from residents of the republic against 10,902 for the nearest competitor – the Republic of Bashkortostan. The work from Tatarstan also received 912 votes from residents of other regions. The "FormART" festival has been held in the Volga Federal District since 2020 at the initiative of the Presidential Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov. In 2026, the key theme will be the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. A total of 400 applications were submitted for participation in the VII season, with the highest activity shown by artists from Tatarstan and Bashkortostan – about 100 applications. The jury selected 14 finalists – one from each region.

      The final results will be announced on August 23 in Kirov. The winners will receive grants ranging from 100,000 to 200,000 rubles for the development of creative projects.
