      The Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation of the Maldives, Mohamed Amin, during his visit to Moscow, announced plans to launch direct flights to Russia in 2027. The authorities are discussing the expansion of air travel, and currently, direct flights to Male are only operated from the capital.

      However, according to experts from the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, the Maldivian airline should not limit itself to just Moscow. The regions have great potential: among the promising destinations are Ufa, Kazan, and Yekaterinburg.
