In the Upper Uslon district, a Festival of Labor and Valor took place. The festive event was held in the square near the sports complex "Champion" and brought together residents and guests of the municipality. The head of the district, Evgeny Varakin, State Duma deputy Maxim Topilin, and State Council deputy of Tatarstan Aydar Tagirov participated in the event. The central event was the ceremony of public recognition of professional achievements. Certificates for the inclusion of names on the Electronic Honor Board of the Republic of Tatarstan were awarded to 11 residents of the district. In total, 67 representatives of the Upper Uslon district were included in the honorary register. "The Year of Labor Valor changes the optics – the hero of our time is once again the one who does, not just speaks. A doctor, a teacher, a combine operator, or a milkmaid – these are the creators of real value, whose honest work today shapes the image of our district," noted Evgeny Varakin. According to him, the results of the work of the municipality's residents are reflected in specific changes. Summarizing the results of the five-year development of the district, the head reported that during this period, the volume of attracted investments exceeded 3 billion rubles. Over five years, 115 km of roads were built and repaired in the district, five modular paramedic-midwifery stations were erected, and the Central District Hospital was updated. The district House of Culture, clubs in the village of Oktyabrsky, and the village of Korguza were also brought to a normative state. In the field of education, five schools and nine food blocks were renovated, and six specialized classrooms were opened as part of the "Growth Point" program. Under the "Our Yard" program, 26 adjacent territories were improved, and six new family recreation areas were created. Gasification continued in the district, and heating systems for social facilities were modernized. During the reporting period, seven apartment buildings were constructed, and major repairs were carried out in another seven. Varakin also highlighted the results of the self-taxation program. With the support of the leadership of Tatarstan, the district managed to accumulate almost 90 million rubles over five years. These funds were directed towards the improvement of cemeteries, the construction of rural roads, the installation of monuments to local heroes, the creation of children's playgrounds, and the repair of water supply systems. Another important direction, the head of the district mentioned, is support for participants of the special military operation and their families. "43 humanitarian convoys have already been sent from the district, with the total amount of assistance currently around 200 million rubles. The funds are directed to provide our compatriots with everything necessary, as well as to purchase special equipment and restore the cities of Lysychansk and Rubizhne," said Varakin. Families of servicemen are assisted with the provision of firewood, hay, and grain, housing repairs, and solving housing and communal services issues. Children of SVO participants are exempt from fees for kindergarten and school meals. State Duma deputy Maxim Topilin addressed the festival participants with a welcoming speech. He emphasized the significance of the Electronic Honor Board of Tatarstan as a project dedicated to people who contribute to the development of the region through their labor and activity. "This is the first project in the country. The Electronic Honor Board of RT is about our leaders, heroes, active citizens, and labor collectives. These are people who contribute, ready to work to move forward," the parliamentarian emphasized. The participants of the Honor Board also spoke in response. Chemistry and biology teacher Natalia Sinitsina from the Upper Uslon school thanked her fellow countrymen for the high appreciation of pedagogical work. Coach Svetlana Demina from the Republican Olympic Reserve Sports School for shooting expressed gratitude to the republic's leadership for creating conditions for training athletes.
