Tatarstan has entered the top three Russian regions where the Digital ID is most frequently used for hotel check-ins. Along with the republic, Krasnodar Krai and Moscow Oblast are also among the leaders. With the help of the digital service, guests do not need to hand over paper documents to hotel staff. It is enough to open a QR code in the MAX messenger. The hotel representative scans it and verifies the data against the information in the database. The entire procedure takes less than a minute. Currently, this method of registration is available in approximately 2,000 Russian hotels. The top ten regions with the highest number of digital check-ins also include St. Petersburg, Moscow, Primorsky, Perm, and Stavropol Krais, as well as Tver and Novosibirsk Oblasts. For Tatarstan, digital check-in is especially relevant starting in September: from September 1, hotels with more than 50 rooms must provide this option for guests.
