V. G. Timiryasov Kazan Innovative University at the Major II Russian-Chinese Forum "Culture of Education"

      On September 23, 2025, the II Russian-Chinese Forum "Culture of Education" took place in St. Petersburg at the National Research University "Higher School of Economics." This event, which attracted over 100 prominent higher education experts from both Russia and China, marked a significant milestone in international academic collaboration. During Russian President Vladimir Putin's recent visit to China, a new phase of the strategic partnership was initiated, with plans for "cross" Years of Education in 2026-2027, which will create exceptional opportunities for academic mobility between the two countries.

      At the forum, V. G. Timiryasov Kazan Innovative University was represented by Rector Asiya Timiryasova, Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development Liliya Vorontsova, Head of the International Relations Department Ekaterina Nikitina, and Specialist of the International Relations Department Samira Yarullina. They proudly showcased their educational initiatives and extensive experience in collaboration with Chinese educational organizations. In her speech, Asiya Vitalyevna Timiryasova highlighted their successful track record in training personnel across various professional fields and presented promising areas for collaboration, which piqued the interest of the Chinese representatives.

      Discussions were held with representatives of major private universities in China, focusing on establishing long-term and mutually beneficial communication. Concrete steps were identified for developing joint educational programs, organizing student exchanges, and executing scientific projects. Participation in the Forum provided V. G. Timiryasov Kazan Innovative University with the opportunity to present itself on an esteemed international platform and to finalize several cooperation agreements.
