'YID Champions Challenge': Zainsk names the best cycling virtuosos.

      On City Day, August 31, one of Zainsk’s venues was buzzing with real sporting excitement.

      There, for the first time in the history of our municipality, a friendly meeting in artistic bicycle handling took place: “YID Champions’ Challenge: 2024 vs 2025.” The participants in the unusual contest were teams of Young Traffic Inspectors (YID) from the Tatar Gymnasium and Zainsk Secondary General Education School No. 7.

      The event became a true test of skill, concentration and endurance. Difficult conditions — asphalt wet from a recent rain — added sharpness and spectacle to the competition. The young cyclists had to not only navigate the course quickly but also flawlessly perform complex elements of figure riding, demonstrating impeccable control of two-wheeled transport and knowledge of traffic rules.

      Despite the competitive spirit on the site, the main outcome of the meeting was not the victory of one team but the strengthening of friendly ties between the young inspectors. By decision of the judging panel, friendship won in the overall team standings. This format allowed the children to exchange experience and once again proved that the main goal of the YID movement is joint work for road safety.

      However, the individual competition was truly serious. The best result among the girls was shown by Darya Tokranova, a pupil of the Tatar Gymnasium. Among the boys there was no equal to Artur Kornilov, representing Zainsk School No. 7. Both champions demonstrated not only excellent technique but also composure, successfully coping with the slippery course and the pressure of the competitive moment.

      The event drew many spectators who watched the participants’ performances with genuine interest and warmly supported all the young athletes.

      Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all participants for a bright and spectacular event that became one of the most memorable moments of the City Day celebration. Such initiatives not only popularize cycling but also make a significant contribution to educating literate and responsible road users.
