The Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District congratulated the cadets of the Tatarstan Cadet Corps on Knowledge Day.
On September 1, 2025, a ceremonial event dedicated to Knowledge Day was held at the Tatar Cadet Corps of the Volga Federal District named after Hero of the Soviet Union Gani Safiullin.
The event was attended by the Chief Federal Inspector for the Republic of Tatarstan Viktor Demidov, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation Aidar Metshin, a candidate for deputy of the Nizhnekamsk City Council of the 5th convocation, member of the local political council of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the United Russia party Radmir Belyaev, and others.
The Tatar Cadet Corps of the Volga Federal District named after Hero of the Soviet Union Gani Safiullin is under the patronage of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov and today is one of the most prestigious general education institutions in Tatarstan.
The event dedicated to Knowledge Day began with a ritual important to the cadets — the performance of the anthems of Russia and Tatarstan.
On behalf of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov, the Chief Federal Inspector for the Republic of Tatarstan Viktor Demidov read the Plenipotentiary Representative’s congratulations on Knowledge Day.
“Today is a special day for those who put on the cadet uniform for the first time and embarked on the noble path of serving the Motherland.
Russia needs intelligent, educated and physically developed young people.
You are the future of our Homeland, the guarantors of its development, prosperity and security.
It is here, in the cadet corps, that you will receive the necessary knowledge and skills to become worthy citizens of your country in the future. And your older comrades will help you with that,” the congratulations read.
The Chief Federal Inspector for the Republic of Tatarstan congratulated the cadets on the holiday and wished them to bravely pursue important life goals, refine their skills and abilities, and in any endeavor proudly carry the honorable title of a Russian cadet.
Then the traditional bell rang, signaling the start of the school year. The future defenders of the Fatherland marched in neat formation past their parents and guests of the celebration.
Recall that since 2013 the Tatar, Bashkir, Udmurt, Nizhny Novgorod, and Chuvash regional cadet corps have been established in the district, where about 2,000 pupils are educated, including children from low-income and large families and from military families.
