      Musical road markings were applied on three sections of the M12 "Vostok" highway from Moscow to Kazan. Driving on the road through Vladimir and Nizhny Novgorod regions, motorists can hear a fragment of the composition "Kalinka-Malinka," the press service of the state company Avtodor reports.

      "The experimental markings appeared at km 144 and km 413 in the direction of Kazan, as well as at km 260 in the direction of Moscow," the statement says.

      The innovative markings will prevent drivers from falling asleep at the wheel, help focus attention on the road and avoid speeding.

      In December 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin opened via video link a section of the high-speed motorway from Moscow to Kazan, 810 kilometers long. Now the trip from the capital of Russia to Tatarstan takes just 6.5 hours.
