In the Kaybitsky District of Tatarstan, the “Strengthening Public Health” program for 2025–2030 has been approved. It was developed within the framework of the national project “Long and Active Life” and the federal project “Health for Everyone.” The document was published on the republic’s official legal information portal.
The program’s goal is to raise the population’s health level and to foster a responsible attitude toward personal well‑being. It is planned to create conditions for leading a healthy lifestyle and preserving human potential.
The program covers all age groups — from children to the elderly — and is based on the principles of accessibility for all categories of citizens, regardless of place of residence and income level.
Among the main directions are education on proper nutrition and physical activity, prevention of chronic diseases (including cardiovascular diseases and cancer), development of sports infrastructure, and expanded access to preventive medical examinations (dispensarization) and vaccination.
The program’s funding is provided from municipal funds and attracted investments. It is expected that by 2030 the prevalence of chronic diseases in the district will decrease and residents will be better informed about health, sports, and nutrition.
