The mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny, Nail Magdeev, instructed the executive committee leadership to develop a system of teen clubs in buildings under construction. He announced this directive today during the Monday business meeting, noting the commissioning of several youth and creative centers in early September — such as the Children's School of Arts, the Youth Center "Orion", and the youth club "Prospekt". "In all residential complexes we need to agree with developers on the terms and provide not only shops on the built-in and attached floors. Owners should be asked and persuaded that residential microdistricts with 8–10 thousand residents must have free spaces for young people," Magdeev said. The mayor gave officials ten days to carry out an audit of the houses under construction and identify possible locations as well as the conditions for placing teen clubs in the buildings.
