The Employment Center of the Republic of Tatarstan continues to organize temporary jobs for teenagers aged 14 to 18 during the summer holidays and other periods free from school. According to the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of August 31, 11,567 teenagers found work.
Young people are employed in positions that do not require special skills or professional training: general laborers, janitors, cleaners of office premises, assistants for city patriotic events, workers in agriculture and on school plots.
In accordance with the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, employers are obliged to pay teenagers a salary not lower than the minimum wage (MROT) proportionate to the actual time worked. In addition, minors employed through the employment center receive an additional payment of 2,650 rubles for each month worked.
