Fisherman's Day at the Zainsk Reservoir: ukha, the catch and a family celebration by the trade union "Accuride Wheels Russia"

      Competitions dedicated to Machine Builder’s Day brought together factory workers and their families.

      The picturesque shore of the Zainsk Reservoir was particularly crowded and cheerful this past weekend. The trade union of Accuride Wheels Russia LLC organized the traditional "Fisherman's Day" for factory workers and their families, this time timed to coincide with the professional holiday — Machine Builder’s Day. This celebration has long since become one of the most beloved and anticipated events within the team. This year it once again confirmed its status, drawing many participants who came out into nature with their whole families to compete in fishing, breathe fresh air, and have a good time among colleagues and friends. The Gumerov, Akhmetshin, and Suleymanov families are active participants in the factory’s events year after year, and this time they were also among the main figures of the celebration.

      The competitions were lively and warm in a family way. To keep everyone’s competitive spirit alive, winners were determined in several categories:

      "The Very First Fish" — this title went to young but already experienced angler and regular event participant Artemiy Suleymanov (8 years old).

      "The Biggest Fish" — no one could match the experienced and long-practicing angler Rustem Gumerov.

      "The Heaviest Catch" — fishing luck smiled widely on Marat Suleymanov, whose keepnet turned out to be the heaviest.

      "Best Equipment" — a category for the most prepared and stylish anglers.

      "Oldest Participant" — this honorary title was won by Insaf Magdiyev.

      "Youngest Participant" — here again Artemiy Suleymanov stood out, becoming the youngest angler of the competition.

      For the first time there was also a gastronomic contest "Homemade Preserves," where participants presented their culinary masterpieces to the jury. The title of author of the tastiest dish was rightfully awarded to Zamira Yusupova. Congratulations for her that day were especially warm — event participants jointly and warmly wished Zamira a happy birthday, making the celebration doubly unforgettable for her.

      After the results were summed up and the winners were presented with valuable prizes, all participants were treated to a delicious reward — a hearty field meal. Guests were served rich fish soup (ukha) made from the fresh catch and aromatic samovar-brewed tea, which became a perfect end to an active day.

      Holding Fisherman’s Day at the factory has become a good and popular tradition that unites generations: young participants already confidently compete on equal terms with adults. Each year the ranks of fishing enthusiasts at the factory grow, which means everyone is eagerly awaiting the next celebration by the water!
