Financial lessons with superheroes: a series of virtual classes launches in Tatarstan

On September 18, the autumn session of interactive online classes dedicated to financial literacy will begin in Tatarstan, organized specifically for schoolchildren and students of Tatarstan. All classes will be held within a new format — the virtual world "City of Finance," where students will become assistants to finance-hero characters while mastering knowledge in areas such as digital security, investing, and even the monetary history of humanity.
The series will open with lessons conducted by Mikhail Mamuta, head of the Consumer Rights Protection and Access to Financial Services division of the Central Bank of Russia. Students will be able to join the event on September 18 at 09:30 Moscow time or later view the recording on the VKontakte social network platform and submit their questions to the speaker.
The online program celebrates its tenth anniversary, offering participants a packed schedule through the end of December. About 800 live lectures on a variety of financial topics are planned for the autumn — from basic budgeting principles to complex issues of fraud prevention and the initial stages of getting acquainted with investing.
Thanks to the convenient remote learning format and flexible schedule, schoolchildren across the country will have the chance to take part in the classes regardless of their location.
