A republic-wide meeting of directors of children's art schools was held at the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan.
"The School of the Arts today assumes not only the mission of upbringing, but also of preserving the psychological and mental balance of children and adults: in schools of the arts we see children and adults who also strive for creativity," noted Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Leyla Fazleeva.
The central moment of the meeting was the review of the year's activities and the awards ceremony. Winners were determined in various categories, including the regional stage of all-Russian competitions. Awards were presented to both distinguished cultural figures and young talents, demonstrating continuity between generations in arts education.
Special attention was paid to supporting young talents, and the winners of the competition for a grant from the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan were also awarded.
The meeting concluded with a quiz, following which the Kukmorskaya Children's Music School received a digital piano from the company "Caldera."
The republican meeting of directors of children's schools of the arts confirmed the status of children's schools of the arts as the foundation for shaping individuals' value orientations.
