Hockey club “Chelny” has signed a contract with former “Ak Bars” player, forward Kirill Petrov. According to the club, the contract will be valid until the end of the season.
Petrov has played a total of 708 games in the KHL, in which he scored 152 goals and recorded 162 assists. The player has appeared for the teams: “Ak Bars” (Kazan), “Neftyanik” (Almetyevsk), “Bars” (Kazan), “Yugra” (Khanty-Mansiysk), “Bridgeport Sound Tigers” (Bridgeport), CSKA (Moscow), “Avangard” (Omsk), “Unison-Moscow,” and “Neftekhimik” (Nizhnekamsk).
Kirill Petrov is a Russian champion and a Gagarin Cup winner (2010), a silver medalist in the Russian championship (2007, 2020, 2023), a World Junior Champion (2007), and the recipient of a number of other awards.
