      On the afternoon of September 21 on Kopylova Street in Kazan a serious traffic accident occurred — the car was torn in two. According to the city State Traffic Inspectorate, the accident happened at about 12:40.

      The driver of the Audi was a 21-year-old who did not have the right to drive. According to preliminary information, the young man did not choose a safe speed, as a result of which he lost control of the vehicle. The car first ran over a curb, then crashed into a lighting pole. The impact was so strong that the car was torn in two. A video from the scene of the accident can be viewed on our Telegram channel.

      The injured driver was hospitalized in serious condition. Fortunately, there were no passengers in the car at the time of the accident.

      At present, traffic police officers are investigating all the circumstances of the incident to establish the causes of the accident.
