The Interior Ministry explained how to distinguish a "Gosuslugi" message from phishing.
Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs explained how to tell genuine letters from the Gosuslugi portal from fraudulent ones. In particular, Gosuslugi sends notifications only to the email address and phone number listed in the personal account. Messengers are not used for this. You should carefully check the sender’s address; it must exactly match the official one. All links in the letters should lead only to the gosuslugi.ru website. Any other addresses are a sign of phishing. Letters never request personal data such as SNILS, card details or SMS codes. Information about fines and payments is also always duplicated in the personal account on the portal.
In addition, Gosuslugi will never ask you to call back or send an SMS code. If in doubt, it is better not to follow links, not to open attachments and not to provide your data. Photo: ru.freepik.com
