The plan for the major renovation of psychological and pedagogical assistance centers in Tatarstan has been completed.

      The renovation was carried out under the capital repair program for youth policy institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan, which corresponds to the goals of the national project “Youth and Children.”

      In Tatarstan the plan for 2025 under the capital repair program for centers of psychological and pedagogical assistance has been 100% completed. Under the program, thanks to the support of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, 300 million rubles were allocated. This was reported by former Minister for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan Rinat Sadykov.

      “This year, under the program, repairs were completed in three centers of psychological and pedagogical assistance, and six centers in Kazan — branches of the ‘Doverie’ center — were equipped with advanced technological equipment. It is important for us to be close to young people and to provide support when they need it. A young person cannot always share their worries with relatives or friends. In centers of psychological and pedagogical assistance they can receive highly qualified support from professional specialists. For this we continue to develop the infrastructure. The youth infrastructure renovation program corresponds to the goals of the national project ‘Youth and Children’,” the former minister said.

      For example, in the renovated “Status” center in Chistopol a relaxation and psychological decompression room equipped with modern equipment and an art-therapy room for psychocorrective art-therapeutic group and individual sessions have appeared, as well as training and assembly halls and a consultation room. Relaxation sessions for the wives and mothers of participants in the special military operation are already being held here, along with a master class on painting canvases and sand therapy, an interactive lesson on bullying prevention, and individual consultations.

      A center of psychological and pedagogical assistance also opened in Zelenodolsk, in the village of Osinovo, where there is a consultation room and a sensory room. The building, with an area of 1,380 sq. m., has become a genuine youth space. Young people can also work in a pottery workshop and in design and graphics, engineering, and cybersport rooms, among others.

      Another center of psychological and pedagogical assistance will open in the Sarmanov district, in the urban-type settlement of Jalil. More than 88 million rubles have been allocated for the renovation of the two-story building totaling 1,105.8 sq. m. The facility now houses psychologists’ offices, a family therapy room, a workshop, a library, as well as spaces “DobroCenter,” “Forpost,” and “Movement of the First.”

      Since 2022, under the program for capital repairs and strengthening the material base of youth centers in Tatarstan, 30 centers of psychological and pedagogical assistance have already been modernized for a total of 905.15 million rubles. In 2025 the program included 9 centers from 4 municipalities; in 2026 the project includes an additional 5 centers from 5 municipalities with a similar level of funding.
