On September 22, a special, creative atmosphere reigned at the Mirny City House of Culture in the town of Zainsk.
As part of the event "Creative Box 'Our Hands Are Not for Boredom,'" second-grade students of Zainsk General Education School No. 5, together with the creative staff of the House of Culture, immersed themselves in the fascinating process of making greeting cards. The occasion for the creativity was the approaching International Day of Older Persons — a wonderful holiday of kindness, respect and wisdom. What could be a better gift on this day than a card made with warmth and love by a child's hands? That was precisely the idea proposed to the children by the Palace of Culture staff, who invited them to create together small but very precious gifts for their grandmothers and grandfathers. Immediately armed with colored paper, scissors, glue and pencils, the young Zainsk artisans enthusiastically set to work.
They approached the task with great diligence and imagination, showing their creativity. A variety of techniques were employed: collage, drawing and the creation of three-dimensional elements. As a result, each child produced their own unique and very colorful card, into which they put a piece of their soul, expressing sincere love and deep gratitude to the older generation. The final stage of the master class was the careful placement of the finished congratulatory text inside each card so that the words would be as warm as the gift itself. Now these wonderful cards, created with such care, will be proudly given by the children to their relatives on October 1. Such events not only give children the joy of creativity but also play an important educational role, helping from an early age to instill in Zainsk’s younger generation a sense of love, care and deep respect for their elders.
