Since the beginning of 2025, the SFR branch in the Republic of Tatarstan has granted a special social payment to more than 30,000 medical workers in the republic.

      Since the beginning of 2025, the regional Office of the Social Fund has transferred to the republic’s medical workers more than 3,022.2 million rubles in the form of special social payments. More than 30.4 thousand healthcare system employees receive this support monthly.

      This support measure is especially important for doctors and mid-level staff in primary care and emergency services, since they are the first to meet patients and work under heavy daily workloads. Payments range from 4.5 to 50 thousand rubles depending on the category of medical worker and the type of medical institution.

      Payments are received by both experienced employees and young doctors and nurses who have taken up vacant positions for the first time.

      Medical institutions form an electronic registry of employees monthly, indicating the employee’s details, the amount of the payment and the indicators on which it was calculated. Transfers to bank accounts are made by the Social Fund Office within seven working days, and a notification is delivered to the personal account on the Gosuslugi portal.

      Special social payments are retained for medical workers working part-time. These funds are not subject to personal income tax and are not included in the calculation of average earnings.

      “Today the state pays special attention to doctors and emergency service staff, because they are the first to come to people’s aid. Since the beginning of 2025 our Office has transferred to the republic’s medical workers more than 3,022.2 million rubles. Special payments help support the work of medical personnel and motivate young specialists to remain in the profession,” emphasized Eduard Vafin, Head of the Social Fund Office of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan.
