According to the results of a survey conducted by SuperJob, 25% of Kazan residents are confident that getting married is not necessary to have a child. At the same time, 35% of respondents consider marriage a mandatory condition, and 34% — desirable. Interestingly, opinions on the need to register a marriage before the birth of a child are almost identical among men (36%) and women (34%). At the same time, 29% of men and 22% of women hold the opposite view. Among men with higher education there are more supporters of mandatory marriage — 39%, compared with 25% among those with vocational secondary education. The main proponents of starting a family are people with an income of 100,000 rubles per month or more. As for women, college graduates more often support the idea of the necessity of marriage (34%) compared with university graduates (31%). The largest share of supporters of mandatory marriage among women is observed in the under-35 age group — 40%.

The village of Kyzyl-Bayrak in the Verkhneuslonsky District, associated with the name of the great Tatar composer Salikh Saydashev, is being considered as a promising tourist location in the region. I am sure this idea has serious prospects for implementation,” said Evgeny Varakin. The development of the festival and the opening of the museum are planned to be integrated into the tourist route “Volga Trail,” which already includes landmark sites of Tatarstan. Thus, Kyzyl-Bayrak could become a notable point on the republic’s cultural map, combining history, music, and tourism.
