      The only goal of the game was scored in the 78th minute by Lokomotiv midfielder Dmitri Barinov. The Lokomotiv player struck from distance, and Rubin goalkeeper Evgeny Staver failed to properly secure the ball with his hands – 1-0.

      Note that in the 84th minute Dardan Shabanhadzhaj was able to equalize. However, the goal was disallowed for offside against the Austrian forward.

      Rubin will play their next RPL match at home on October 4 against Krylia Sovetov.
