In the urban-type settlement of Aksubaevo, the court suspended the operation of the Zam-Zam café on Oktyabrskaya Street. One of the patrons was diagnosed with salmonella enteritis. This was reported by the press service of the Rospotrebnadzor Directorate for the Republic of Tatarstan.
Agency employees found that the establishment violated mandatory sanitary legislation requirements. For example, there were flies in the food preparation area, no rodent control or insect control measures had been carried out at the café, and staff were allowed to work without medical examinations, vaccinations, or hygiene training.
In addition, bacteria from the Escherichia coli group were found in samples of dishes taken.
Nine batches of food products totaling 19 kg were withdrawn from sale. Protocols on an administrative offense and on a temporary ban on activity were drawn up against the legal entity.
The court ruled to suspend the Zam-Zam café’s activities for 60 days; the premises were sealed.
