Free dog training sessions will be held in parks in Kazan.

      Free dog classes will start in Kazan’s city parks in October. The events are aimed at beginner dog owners and include obedience, agility, rally obedience and nosework. The classes will be held by dog behavior specialist Polina Kucheeva. Owners will be able to teach their pets basic commands, run obstacle courses for speed and find items by scent.

      Event schedule:

      5 October — training (rally obedience), Gorky Park, by the clock.

      12 October — puppy hour, Krylya Sovetov Park, dog-walking area.

      19 October — item search (nosework), Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky Forest, dog-walking area.

      26 October — obstacle course (agility), Uritsky Park, dog-walking area.

      Participation is open to puppies from 3.5 months old who have completed quarantine, are vaccinated and treated for parasites.
