      Kazan State Medical University plans to purchase server equipment, data storage systems and virtualization solutions for 17 million rubles. The corresponding tender has been posted on the government procurement portal. The IT infrastructure modernization is being carried out as part of the federal project "Universities for a Generation of Leaders," which is part of the national project "Youth and Children." This project is aimed at involving students in professional development programs and scientific research, which should provide the economy with highly qualified personnel of the new generation.

      According to the tender conditions, the supplier is obliged not only to deliver the equipment but also to integrate it into the university’s existing infrastructure, conduct testing and update the software. All work must be completed by December 25 of the current year.
