Municipal Budgetary General Education Institution "Tetyushi Secondary School No. 2 named after A.A. Sokolovsky" informs

      Starting school is a pivotal moment in a child’s life. It marks the beginning of a new stage in their development. The child will have to master new forms of activity, develop a different style of relationships with peers and adults, and undergo physiological adjustments. How can we help a child adapt to a new environment and develop a positive attitude toward school and learning?

      “Continuity between the work of kindergarten and school as a condition for the successful adaptation of children to school education” — this was the topic of the municipal seminar for primary school teachers and kindergarten educators in the city, which took place on October 7 at MBOU “Tetyushskaya Secondary School No. 2 named after A.A. Sokolovsky.” The seminar was attended by the school administration, teachers of preparatory groups, senior educators, primary school teachers, music teacher, English teacher, after-school group educators, a school psychologist, and methodologists from the district education department.

      During the seminar, in Grade 1 the following lessons were demonstrated: an alphabet lesson “Sound У. Letters Уу.” (teacher Kostyukhina E.K.), a music lesson “Cheerful Notes” (Andrianova A.E.), an extracurricular English lesson “Let’s Get Acquainted!” (Druzhkina N.Yu.), and an extracurricular activity within the “Rainbow of Ideas” club in the after-school group (Sarapulina E.K.). Analyzing the observed lessons, the kindergarten educators and primary school teachers exchanged views on the topic “What is a kindergarten graduate and a first-grader like?”

      Next there was a round table where the school principal Gaffarov F.F. gave a welcoming speech. The deputy director for primary education Ilyina Yu.F. presented a film about the experience and achievements of primary-level teachers and students. The school psychologist Emelyanova E.P. addressed the issue of a child’s psychological readiness for school. Ilyina Yu.F. introduced the teachers of future first-graders, Minaeva D.D. and Samatova G.N., who in turn conducted master classes for seminar participants on preparing children for school and offered practical advice. To conclude the meeting, methodologists from the Municipal Institution “Department of Education of the Administration of Tetyushsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan,” Garipova Rezeda Akhmetovna and Politavina Tatyana Ivanovna, spoke on “Modern methods to ensure continuity between kindergarten and school: effective solutions.”

      The exchanges at the seminar were not only useful and pleasant but also very productive. The open lessons and activities in the first grades made it possible to find points of contact in the work of teachers and educators. Such experience of communication inspires and encourages further joint fruitful work aimed at the successful adaptation of first-graders to school learning.
