      Dear citizens! The Federal State Budgetary Institution “Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan” has issued:

      Consultation – warning about the intensity of a meteorological phenomenon

      from 21:00 on October 11 to 18:00 on October 12, 2025

      During the night and daytime hours of October 12, strong winds with gusts of 15–17 m/s are expected in places across the Republic of Tatarstan and in the city of Kazan.

      The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan recommends:

      When the wind strengthens:

      1. We recommend limiting going outside and staying indoors. It is important not to leave children unattended.

      2. If a strong wind catches you outdoors, we recommend taking shelter in underground pedestrian crossings or in the entrance halls of buildings. Do not shelter from strong winds near building walls, as roofing slate and other roofing materials may fall from roofs. The same applies to public transport stops and unfinished buildings.

      3. On the street, stay away from billboards, signs, and power lines.

      4. Do not stay near large trees, and do not park vehicles near them — wind-torn branches can pose a great danger.

      5. It is deadly dangerous during strong winds to stand under power lines or approach severed electrical wires.

      6. Broken glass falling from upper-floor windows, as well as wind-torn roofing elements and plaster decorations, may be dangerous. This threat increases near buildings under construction or repair.

      7. All windows of buildings must be tightly closed; remove from balconies and loggias any items that could fall outside.

      8. Stay as far away from windows as possible in residential or work premises.
