Three sectors of the economy in Russia recorded an average monthly salary above 200,000 rubles, Rosstat reports. The leaders were financial and insurance activities, the manufacture of tobacco products, and oil and gas extraction.
According to July data, specialists in the financial and insurance sectors received an average of 221.9 thousand rubles, employees of the tobacco industry — 206.3 thousand rubles.
Third place was occupied by workers of the oil and gas industry with an average income of 200.3 thousand rubles per month. A year ago no sector of the country’s economy demonstrated such high pay levels.
