In Tatarstan, men become fathers at ages 30–34 — the Republic of Tatarstan Civil Registry Office

      In Tatarstan men are more likely to become fathers at ages 30–34, while women first become mothers at ages 25–29. This was reported to Tatar-inform by the Civil Registry Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

      "The active age for motherhood in Tatarstan was 25–29 years, and for fatherhood 30–34 years," the agency said.

      It is noted that 18% of married couples became parents in the first year of married life. Moreover, 163 families gave birth to twins.
