Nizhnekamsk patrol police officers detained a man with drugs.
Nizhnekamsk police received a report that a suspicious man was walking in one of the stairwells of a building on Shkolny Boulevard. Patrol officers went to the scene and detained a 37-year-old local resident. During a personal search in the presence of witnesses, packages with an unknown substance were found on the man. Chemical analysis established that the seized substance was a plant-derived narcotic — cannabis and hashish. During a search at the detained man's place of residence, narcotics control detectives also found the narcotic substance cannabis. The total weight of the seized prohibited substance amounted to 57 grams. A criminal case has been opened under the signs of the crime provided for in Part 1 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, “Illegal manufacture, sale or shipment of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues.”
