The Central Election Commission of Tatarstan and the Tatmedia agency honored journalists following the Single Voting Day in Tatarstan.

      Seventy representatives of the republic’s media were honored with commemorative medals “100 Years Since the Formation of the First Composition of the Central Election Commission of the TASSR,” certificates of honor and letters of appreciation from the Central Election Commission of Tatarstan.

      The event was attended by the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Tatarstan, Andrey Kondratyev, and the head of the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications “Tatmedia,” Aidar Salimgaraev.

      “The elections were held calmly, without violations, professionally, openly and legitimately. This is largely thanks to you, dear journalists. You are one of the most important partners of the republic’s election commission system in informing voters about the elections. I sincerely thank you for that!” noted the head of the Tatarstan CEC, Andrey Kondratyev.

      He expressed special words of gratitude to the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications “Tatmedia” and its head Aidar Salimgaraev — for their professional work and personal involvement in the process of informing voters.

      “The main task of the media covering the elections is to draw voters’ attention to the voting process. I am confident that we will strengthen and multiply the tradition of family voting in Tatarstan,” said Aidar Salimgaraev.

      The year 2025 is marked by active information interaction between the CEC of Tatarstan and the republic’s media. Wide press coverage was given to the All-Russian seminar-meeting for press secretaries and heads of press services of the election commissions of the Russian Federation, which was held in Kazan; to the activities of the CEC of Tatarstan’s Information Center “Point of Choice” on the Kremlin Embankment; to the “Voter’s Day” project; and to the Republican contest “As a Whole Family to the Elections.”
