MGER and United Russia opened the "Young Guard" museum in Kazan.

      The museum is dedicated to the feat of the underground anti‑fascist organization "Young Guard."

      The space was opened at the MGER Humanitarian Center. It is part of the project "Hero of Our Time. Heirs of Victory," whose main goal is to strengthen patriotism among young people, preserve historical memory and form civic identity. The project’s implementation received support from a grant by the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. The museum is equipped with three televisions showing three films about the creation and activities of the underground anti‑fascist organization "Young Guard." The first visitors were students of the All‑Russian State University of Justice (RPA of the Ministry of Justice of Russia). MGER activists told the story of the "Young Guard" and organized screenings of films devoted to the heroism of the organization’s members.

      The curator of the local MGER branches, Asaf Sulagaev, emphasized that preparation for the museum’s opening was long and painstaking.

      "For us, Young Guards, this is an important moment. We prepared for the museum opening for a long time, researched archives and created an exhibition that tells about the heroes who fought for freedom. Despite their young age, they stood up to defend the Motherland, resisting fascism. Their actions in Krasnodon shocked the German command, but unfortunately many were captured and brutally executed. We must remember and honor their feat, continuing to preserve the memory of our heroes," Sulagaev said.

      In addition to the museum exhibition, the Young Guards presented the activities of the Humanitarian Center to the students. Activists showed the SVO museum. These are trophies brought from the frontline — chevrons, rocket‑launcher tubes, propaganda books, drones and other items. Workshops were also held for students on weaving camouflage nets and making trench candles. Each student was able to personally try weaving a net.

      The workshops also took place as part of the "Hero of Our Time. Heirs of Victory" project.
