      In Kazan, a 31-year-old water park instructor will stand trial, accused of causing grievous bodily harm to an eight-year-old child. According to the investigation, on June 23, 2025, an employee of the Suvar water park violated the requirements of her job instructions and the rules for operating attractions, which led to a serious injury to an underage visitor.

      As Andrey Sheptitsky, senior assistant to the head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan, reported, the criminal case was sent to court after the investigation was completed. During the investigation it was established that the instructor neglected safety rules while working on the water attraction, even though the responsibility for visitors’ safety rested with the employee.

      The injured girl suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized. The exact nature of the injuries has not been specified.
