      Chinese corporation PowerChina International Group Limited, ranked among the top 15 largest transnational companies in China, is implementing its first Russian project in Kazan. The company will undertake the construction of the multifunctional "YarPark" complex on the bank of the Kazanka River, the mayor’s office of the republic’s capital reports. The project includes the construction of 13 buildings with a total area of 302,000 sq. m., which will house a five-star hotel, business- and premium-class apartments, an office center and a shopping and entertainment area. Nearly one third of the complex’s territory will be landscaped, and pedestrian zones will unite a space for festivals and city events. Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin noted that the project’s implementation will open new prospects for international cooperation and the development of urban infrastructure. PowerChina has substantial international experience, having implemented projects in 138 countries over the past decade.
