The Young Citizens' Forum in Tatarstan will be dedicated to career self-determination.
The Forum of Young Citizens — an annual educational platform for 14–18-year-olds organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the University of Talents — will take place in the republic from November 4 to 6. Applications can be submitted until October 28 of this year on the forum’s website.
“We want young people to feel that choosing a profession is not an obligation but an opportunity to find themselves. Our experts will help participants become aware of their strengths, which directions suit them best, and how to take the first steps toward their goals today,” the organizers note.
The main theme of the forum this year is career self-determination and the choice of profession. In a world where professions and technologies are changing rapidly, the forum helps teenagers take a conscious approach to choosing their future, understand which areas appeal to them, what strengths they already have, and how to develop their talents today.
Over three days participants will enjoy a packed program: self-development modules aimed at better understanding oneself, one’s interests and capabilities; career labs — meetings with professionals from various fields and introductions to modern professions; inspiring master classes and open conversations with people who have found their calling and are ready to share personal experience.
The forum creates a space where it is important not just to choose a “trendy” profession, but to learn to understand one’s abilities, values and interests in order to build a life based on meaning and confidence.
Participants will meet specialists, psychologists, entrepreneurs and leaders of educational and career projects in Tatarstan.
The forum is being held as part of the national project “Youth and Children.”
