      These data were presented today at a meeting in the House of Government of the RT by Deputy Prime Minister of the RT – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the RT Marat Zyabbarov.

      The meeting was held via videoconference with all municipal districts. It was chaired by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin. The Chairman of the State Council of the RT Farid Mukhametshin took part in the meeting.

      Marat Zyabbarov reported that to date more than 1,346 thousand hectares, or 87% of the fallow areas, have been worked, including subsoiling performed on 515 thousand hectares. Some districts have already completed autumn ploughing. The minister instructed farms in Yutazinsky, Menzelinsky, Sarmanovsky, Almetyevsky, Vysokogorsky and Nurlatsky districts to increase the pace of fallow cultivation.

      Marat Zyabbarov reported on the results of the livestock sector for the first nine months of the current year. Sales of agricultural products amounted to 151.0 billion rubles, of which 71%, or 107.8 billion rubles, came from livestock (an increase of 20% compared to the previous year). In particular, sales of milk amounted to 57 billion rubles (a 134% increase compared to 2024), and of livestock and poultry – 43.4 billion (a 114% increase compared to 2024).

      In the first nine months of the current year 1,405,000 tons of milk were produced, which is 106% compared to 2024. Leading districts are Atninsky, Mamadyshsky, Menzelinsky and Kukmorsky, which account for 78% of the growth. These are districts with a high level of adoption of advanced technologies in modern dairy complexes. At the same time, 15 districts showed negative indicators in milk yields, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the RT noted.

      He said that agricultural enterprises are achieving good results due to the construction of modern dairy complexes. This year seven dairy complexes for 2,576 head have been commissioned. Currently, 23 investment projects for 22 thousand cows are at various stages of implementation.

      As for meat production in agricultural formations of all forms of ownership (peasant farms, personal subsidiary farms), 314 thousand tons of livestock and poultry meat were produced in the first nine months of the current year, 102% compared to 2024.

      Marat Zyabbarov said that on October 28 a meeting is scheduled at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the RT with the participation of heads of municipal districts, leaders of agroholdings and agricultural entities. During the event the results of the livestock sector for nine months will be summed up and a detailed analysis will be carried out, identifying growth points for production indicators.
