Verkhneuslonsky District has introduced a new form of humanitarian support for the special military operation.

      The volunteer movement supporting participants of the Special Military Operation continues to actively develop in the Verkhneuslonsky District. In the settlement of Oktyabrsky, volunteers have mastered a new direction — the production of procedure cushions that are needed by medical personnel for blood draws and intravenous injections. The project is being implemented by "silver" volunteers. They are provided with all the necessary materials — fabrics, filling and sewing tools. Each cushion is sewn with special care and attention, and the finished items will be sent with the nearest humanitarian cargo to frontline hospitals where servicemen are undergoing treatment and rehabilitation. In addition, humanitarian centers in the Verkhneuslonsky District continue to work in other areas: volunteers assemble dry rations, sew clothing, and weave camouflage nets. Special attention is paid to individual requests from fellow local fighters — among them are requests for transport, military insignia and specialized equipment necessary to carry out combat tasks. "The coordinated work of our volunteers and all the residents of the district demonstrates unity and readiness to support those who defend our country," said the head of the Verkhneuslonsky District, Evgeny Varakin, who visited one of the humanitarian centers. In his annual address to the State Council of Tatarstan, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the primary task for all authorities today is to ensure a reliable rear for the fighters defending the sovereignty of our country at the frontline.
