The 3rd All-Russian Municipal "Service" Award has been launched.

      The III All-Russian Municipal Award "Service" has launched. Applications for participation will be accepted until November 21, 2025. The Award’s Supervisory Board, chaired by First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Sergey Kiriyenko, approved 10 nominations this year. Two of them were established for the first time, the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU) reports.

      These are the nomination "From the front line of the special military operation to the municipality" — the award will be presented for projects aimed at creating conditions for the self-realization of every returning participant of the special military operation; and the nomination "Professional personnel — the future of the municipality", which is dedicated to systematic work on staffing, the implementation of mentorship and staff training.       Irina Guseva, Co-Chair of the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government and a member of the Presidium of the Presidential Council for the Development of Local Self-Government, noted: "Today the municipal community is forming a culture of love for the native land, carefully preserving historical roots and at the same time moving forward, introducing innovative solutions. The experience of colleagues is becoming an important tool in the work of local authorities. During preparations for the launch of the III All-Russian Municipal Award 'Service', a decision was made to expand the pool of experts to popularize and search for unique projects, to strengthen quality control of evaluation and selection of applications at the expert voting stage, and also to disseminate the winners’ stories on state platforms."

      Mayors of municipalities, municipal employees, staff of municipal bodies and municipal organizations, municipal deputies, chairpersons, executive directors and employees of councils of municipal formations of regions, chairpersons and members of territorial public self-government (TOS), as well as village elders, may participate in the award. Candidates for the award may nominate their projects and forward-looking solutions individually or as a team. Applications may also be submitted by regional councils of municipal formations.

      Last year more than 41,000 applications were received nationwide for participation in the award. Among the finalists were two projects from Tatarstan — "Kazan City Hall. Principles of open dialogue with residents" from Kazan and "Family culture in a cultural family" from the Tetyushsky District. A year earlier, the laureate of the All-Russian Municipal Award "Service" in the nomination "A person’s fate — the pride of the Fatherland" was the former head of the Mamadyshsky District of the republic, Anatoly Ivanov.

      After the Supervisory Board approves the 100 best applications, public voting will begin on the Gosuslugi RF portal. The solemn award ceremony for the winners of the III All-Russian Municipal Award "Service" will take place in April 2026 as part of the All-Russian Municipal Forum "SMALL HOMELAND — THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA".
