      In the urban-type settlement of Vasilevo in the Zelenodolsk district, passersby found the body of an infant beneath the windows of an apartment building in the evening. He had been thrown from a height. Representatives of emergency services, including investigators from the Investigative Committee, soon arrived at the scene. A criminal case was opened on the charge of "leaving someone in danger," the press service of the Investigative Committee's regional office reported.

      It was established that the boy, who had been born just 22 days earlier, was thrown out of the fourth-floor apartment window by his own sister. The girl herself is five years old. According to preliminary information, the children were alone in the apartment at the time; the parents were absent. The father was at work, and the mother's whereabouts are currently unknown. The investigation continues.

      The chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, has already taken an interest in the case. He instructed Valery Lipsky, the head of the Tatarstan regional office, to report on the progress of the investigation.
