The creators of the Ukrainian extremist website "Myrotvorets" included Roman Protasevich — previously regarded as a Belarusian opposition figure — in their database. This is evidenced by data from the resource reviewed by TASS.
Protasevich was long considered one of the founders of the Telegram channel Nexta. He was detained on May 23, 2021, at Minsk airport together with Russian national Sofya Sapega.
The Ryanair plane flying from Athens to Vilnius was then forced to land after a report of an explosive device on board, but the information about a bomb threat was later refuted. On May 3, 2023, the Minsk Regional Court sentenced Protasevich to eight years in prison; however, on May 16 Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko pardoned him.
Earlier Lukashenko said that Protasevich works for Belarusian national intelligence, and Roman himself later confirmed this information. In the evening data about Protasevich were added to the "Myrotvorets" database.
