A rural school in Zainsky District plans to start sewing fleece clothing for participants in the special military operation.
The Alexandro-Slobodskaya School has already sewn the first trial set of clothing.
On October 30, participants of a seminar for the heads of rural settlements visited the Alexandro-Slobodskaya School. Pupils and teachers presented to the guests their work in providing assistance to participants of the special military operation. At the school they pour trench candles, prepare fragrant tea from meadow herbs, and sew underwear and pajamas. One of the new directions is the production of pillows for fighters undergoing treatment in hospitals to place under an arm or a leg after being wounded.
School principal Rezeda Zaitseva spoke about a new idea to sew warm clothing for servicemen. The school plans to begin producing warm fleece sets and balaclavas to protect the face and neck from the cold so that the fighters are warmer. Fleece is a lightweight, durable, elastic material that dries quickly, breathes and wicks moisture, while very effectively retaining heat. The first trial fleece set was displayed on a mannequin.
“This idea was suggested by our Rezeda Faritovna, and we all supported it together. We purchased the first batch of fleece; this fabric is very convenient to work with, it does not require an overlock, just machine stitching is enough. At the same time the fabric is very soft and warm,” said Valentina Galyamova, the principal’s advisor for upbringing and interaction with children’s public associations.
